Langside College Glasgow is an institution that offers international students the opportunity to gain entry qualifications for university, or qualifications to move directly into employment. We offer Higher National Qualifications, which are recognised as equivalent to Year 1 and Year 2 of university undergraduate programmes; therefore many of our students enter university at Year 2 or Year 3. Langside College Glasgow has excellent articulation routes with several universities, including all the universities in Glasgow, and close contact with local industry.
Our academic programmes fall into four faculties: Arts, Languages and Social Sciences; Education, Care and Sport; Information Technology and Business Studies; and Maths Science and Technology. Within these faculties there are a wide range of courses available, such as Accountancy, Beauty Therapy and Engineering.
Langside College is accredited by the British Council for English Language tuition. All international students, whether studying English Language or academic programmes are offered English Language support through our on-line learning centre.
Our International Student Services are able to offer students a high level of support, from initial enquiry and visa assistance through to university information and social activities. Langside College has a self-catering hall of residence on campus, offering secure, affordable en-suite accommodation. Alternatively, students can choose to stay with one of our home stay providers, or we can provide assistance with finding rented accommodation.
