Glasgow College of Nautical Studies is situated in Glasgow on the south bank of the River Clyde next to Glasgow Green.
Many attractions are less than 1 hour away, including Edinburgh, Stirling, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The City has excellent transport links to the rest of Britain, with Queen Street Station and Central Station within walking distance of the College. Fast intercity links mean London is only a little over 5 hours away and there are services to all major stations throughout the UK.
The College is only a few minutes from the M8/M80/M74 motorways and 15 minutes from Glasgow International Airport..
We have students from different parts of the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Finland,Denmark, Japan, Ethiopia and many more. Over the past two academic years we have enrolled students from 80 different countries.
A mixture of cultures, ages and gender of our students provides a happy cosmopolitan atmosphere in which friendships thrive.
The College has a policy of pro-active involvement in racial harmony and our Racial Equality Advisor is a regular attendee at lectures, seminars and topical events locally and nationally. In addition we seek input from our international students to guide us to improve the services and facilities that we provide.
