What is the International GCSE?
The International GCSE Programme (IGCSE) is offered at EF International Academy in Torbay. GCSE stands for General Certificate of Secondary Education. The IGCSE is a one or two year programme for students between the ages of 14 and 16, and it is taught in over 125 countries. It is the international equivalent to the UK’s GCSE. It teaches students to be inquisitive and apply their knowledge to new situations. Cultural awareness and English language skills are important parts of the IGCSE curriculum.

IELTS 4.5 / TOEFEL 103 CBT / 34 IBT / SLEP 43 or equivalent on the free EF International Academy test. Students who do not meet the requirements will need to take an EF Academic English course or additional language tutoring tuition.
