Brooke House is an independent, co-educational boarding college. Academic demands are high and the work exacting but the atmosphere is pleasant and informal, preparing students for both the responsibilities and freedoms of university and adult life.
Situated in the small, historic and typically English town of Market Harborough, Brooke House College specialises in preparing students from all over the world for entry to university in the UK. A staff to student ratio of 5:1 fosters close academic and pastoral supervision and its small size - 220 students - promotes a real family atmosphere. Students leave Brooke House for some of Britain's best universities, equipped with the skills and maturity which will serve them through until completion of their degree studies.
Brooke House is a large, elegant Georgian mansion standing in grounds of almost two acres. The facilities, apart from tutorial rooms, include the students' private study rooms, common rooms, laboratories, art complex, launderette and recreation building which caters for table tennis, pool, television, gym and tuck shop. Wireless internet facilities are provided throughout the College.
The College is an hour by train from London, and very close to the M1 and M6 motorways.
