The City College Manchester is a large college of Further and Higher Education for students aged 16 years and above. College profile: - 5 campuses - 6,000 full-time students and 18,000 part-time students - 600+ international students from 50 countries You will find a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in our English Language Centre. We offer general English Language courses all year round for all levels from the beginners to advanced. Our extensive range of courses offer you the opportunity to study English at an appropriate level. Our courses are designed to meet the particular needs of international students. The courses aim to improve your English in all the skill areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing but we also introduce modules that focus on academic English and exam preparation. All International Students are taken care of by our International Office. The Office is a large team that can help students with advice on all visa and accommodation issues. We also have a Social and Welfare Officer who works closely with our teachers to support students' needs outside the classroom. There is also access to a wide range of facilities, including Admissions and Guidance (for advice on career paths and university entry), Counselling, and The Students' Union.
